FINALLY picked up Nier after ignoring huge threads on it on every board i visit forever. Just got my first ending, there is a lot about this game i want to talk about but that has probably already been discussed! P. excited to read the thread eventually.

the first touhou game (highly responsive to prayer) is a cool breakout-like, not a shmup. It's pretty good! I love the black/red/purple palette too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSaGWsGy3FE
Also been playing the msx version of psycho world. Its... way better than the sms version.
Anyone know where I could get a sharp x1 set? UG doesn't seem to have one.

Hmm. I've got $20 sitting in my steam account from selling crates so I might just get it there. The bundle is tempting... and then I can save this cash for rott I guess. Probability 0 looks good too.

My feelings too. I was really excited for it, played it a couple of times for about 6 hours total, then just forgot to turn it on ever again.

My main problem was how incredibly easy and linear it was to start with - felt like it took too long to get to the 'meat' of the game. I suppose this was to evoke that 'icebergvania' feeling, but it was forced. I might go back and try and finish it after I get done with starseed pilgrim.
