man what are they doing
even knowing nothing of the gameplay I'm already dreading all the steampunk affectations that will percolate through the work. _________________

How are they any worse than the steampunk affectations in Thief 1 and 2?
What I'm dreading is the talk about giving Garrett magical powers and shit. Please don't make another Dishonored. |
Basically what costel said
Sure, Thief 1 and 2 had antiquated fantasy technology but it didn't have people in pseudo-victorian outfits visiting pseudo victorian brothels in screenshots that looked traced over from dishonored. _________________

| They released new patches that fix any problems you should have a while back. For thief 1 you want Tfix. For Thief 2 you want patch 1.19. Or just torrent the gog version which should include all of that. |
Yeah, patch 1.19 is one of those wizard things too, it basically completely eliminates all the limitations and shortcomings of the thief engine (which is going to be great once 1.19 exclusive missions start being released)
Oh yeah if you want to run custom missions, save yourself the headache of doing it manually and get DarkLoader. _________________

thief 3 was pretty mediocre except for that one level, the cradle, which is probably the most atmospheric of any of the thief games. _________________

remember when video games didn't come with minimaps by default?
Thief's in game map was great for how infuriatingly vague it was. _________________

Yeah that line is very groan worthy and the whole video is a bit embarrassing
very tellingly from the makers of dxhr, game looks practically ubisoftian. _________________
