Given that Natsume localised this, I wonder how many typos the text has. At any rate, I'm not buying this until it makes its way to the European PSN. _________________ Get Xenoblade Chronicles!

Apparently the game is out today, but I haven't found information about a European PSN release. _________________ Get Xenoblade Chronicles!

I was going to post a tweet to Natsume about the European PSN release, but it looks like someone got ahead of me. Natsume replied that they're still working out a release date. Good news! _________________ Get Xenoblade Chronicles!

I was thinking this was unnecessarily cynical, but okay, you win. |
My comment didn't come from nowhere. I've played three games localised by Natsume after 1996 so far, and they all suffered from obvious typos. I say "after 1996" because older titles like Lufia and the Fortress of Doom and Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals didn't suffer from these.
Thinking about this, I notice that the titles that were typo-free were home consoles titles, and the ones that weren't were portable console titles. Maybe this isn't a coincidence and Natsume is consistently lax with portable console title localisation. _________________ Get Xenoblade Chronicles!

Delayed? They just didn't work out a release date yet. _________________ Get Xenoblade Chronicles!

It looks like Carnage Heart EXA was released on the EU PSN last year, and I didn't notice. The game released on 23 October 2013, which is 7 months after the North American release. Furthermore, this is 3 months after the game was rated by PEGI. Why the fuck have they been sitting on it all this time?
But it gets worse.
And I'm not talking about the price (€25), which is disproportionate to the amount of work Natsume puts into its localisations.
No, I'm talking about the title's availability: "Not available in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine".
What the fuck? It took them so long to make the release, and when they finally do, they limit it to the UK? Do they not want the game to sell well in Europe, or what?
You could even make the joke that it was never released in Europe at all, as some believe the UK is not part of Europe. _________________ Get Xenoblade Chronicles!

| It's also on the German, Austrian, French, Italian and Spanish stores, BenRen. |
So, did they tick some country boxes, thinking they were like languages? Because those countries, except for Austria, just happen to represent the languages that European releases often have in addition to English. _________________ Get Xenoblade Chronicles!
