Speaking of DS games, Chocobo Tales, people! I don't really play many card based games but CT is interesting from what I remember.

The first thing that comes to mind is the ability to rotate the camera and jump. Those aspects set Xenogears apart. Perhaps a more shallow thing to note, but yeah. I first played the game nearly 15 years after it launched, so i'm not sure if those features were like mind blowing at the time. Those features don't feel very well in this age.
