The only good thing I can think of about Xbox One: Apparently the kinect can do biometric readings like measuring your heart rate by just looking at your face. It's creepy and I have no idea how effective that technology can actually be (the successor of sorts to the vanished Wii vitality sensor), but that could be really cool in a survival horror game or better yet in the hands of Kojima in something like a Psycho Mantis battle.

I'm really confused by everything regarding the used games situation with the new Xbox, so I'm wondering for anyone more well versed that if I buy a retail copy of a game and install it will I still need a copy to run the game? If I sell the physical game, will my installed copy be deactivated once a buyer gets a new activation key? I don't think MS has answered that one yet.

Rumor is that not only is Respawn's debut Xbox exclusive but also Mirror's Edge 2 which suddenly popped up on a bunch of European Amazon sites.

Of course if true they are probably timed but dangit EA.

How are you surprised? Most console gamers, (the majority being the stereotype madden/cod fratboy or young kids/family/casual) many who rent/lend/buy used are not familiar with drm and this could be a rude awakening. They aren't the ones making an uproar, but they will when this launches. Of course consoles are closed by nature and with Microsoft seeming to be in control of everything on the console there are no alternatives to buy games or distribute outside their parameters of publishing/drm. No competition. Hell, that's why Kane & Lynch 2 is still 40 bucks on Xbox Demand and $10 on Steam and Amazon.
