I didn't mind playing it all WASD-style, and I'm one of the world's biggest WASD haters. There's some precision clicking later in the game that I think would be way too frustrating with a controller. _________________

| I'll repeat, I mapped keys to a DS3 using Joy2key. The game plays totally fine. It doesn't require quick reflexes, like Portal does. You could also use Xpadder or any other thing. I actually used motioninjoy to emulate a 360 controller and THEN ran Joy2key over the top of it. becuase I was being stupid. |

Big Picture support is live.
Also, they are doing an SDL2 conversion of the game. Which I think means it will fully work in Linux/SteamOS. |

Started playing this over the weekend now that it has the official gamepad support. I'm not very far in but so far so good! It has a very odd look to it, but it appeals to me. It actually struck me that I'd like to see a dream 3DS version as it seems laid out in a way where a 3d diorama take on it would just look lovely. The game itself is fine so far, it hasn't made a huge impact on me but I'm rather early and it seems more than solid enough. _________________ http://www.audioatrocities.com/games/castlevania-sotn/clip1.mp3 |

| I've been playing this and I have to say I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying it. It's just mysterious enough to compel me to keep pushing forward, which I can not say a lot of games have been doing for me lately. |
