Oh, I am still in to do it, no doubt, just that yeah, waiting till i hit 30 is not going to happen, most likely. I relly wish there was a way to convert shards to energy, ugh.

Just completed the Super Good Advice bounty. It has the same missed-rounds-return-to-magazine ability that it sounds like Icebreaker does. Does solar damage. This could be very useful.

i'd kinda like to finish hard mode vog again for fatebringer if xur ever sells gjallahorn or icebreaker again and i need to free an exotic slot, but wiping on the templar last time was demoralising

if we're just doing crota's it's a trivial time investment right now vs vog, depending on just how scummy you want to be

you can skip all of that nonsense with the bridge, for example

i think so!

the trick is to do the stories on the highest difficulty you can as fast as you can!

i'm curious if you can literally crack 20 that way, but you definitely get real close

re: shards you can get ascendants more reliably in other ways, the daily gives you a couple, public events usually do, dismantling old stuff also, you could do the raid and get no shards but tons of weapons/armour you already have and be no better off

That said though I think you'd be fine on the hard mode vog at 29 anyway, we've just been doing it wrong, especially templar

the best way is to have five snipers/scout rifles at the top on oracle duty, the sixth takes the relic and helps out with the harder to reach oracles / drops the shield when ready

yeah it's definitely pretty hard to organise six people, with the holidays + folk losing interest etc.

i'm up for either whenever basically, besides nye, this is a very boring holiday for me

hey so i'm a level 29 Bladedancer now and i play with dmauro (remember him?) a lot, who's a 29 Titan.

i expect that once i get a Vanguard helmet (maybe sometime next week?), i'll hit 30.

anyway, i haven't done a single raid in this game! it's hard to find 6 people :\

i always planned on coming in here and joining up with y'all, but now that i feel "caught up," it seems like the right time.

yeah there are still 6+ sb people playing this, it's just hard to organise stuff, doesn't help that psn messaging is shit

if you're 29+ you should solo the first half of the new raid every week, that's 2 rolls for new raid set gear and the first chest has shards + a chance for a random exotic weapon
