Is it possible to solo without being a hunter that can turn invisible?

I cleared Crota with some friends of a friend, but… I want to do an SB raid pretty bad!

I made a doodle for those interested in raiding this week, so check off what days/times might be cool for you??

yeah

run past the first 2 lanterns & sit on the top of the rock formation next to the second, there are a ton of videos showing exactly where you should be - it'll blow up & send you flying near to the checkpoint without doing any damage. at the end, step on the platform that starts the bridge forming, jump on one of the rocks (again! this is because thralls can't reach you) & snipe the ogre when it shows up, reaching the checkpoint

for the bridge you can either do it the hard way: kill swordbearer, get the sword, double jump from the highest platform and use the sword attack repeatedly, sending you to the other side

or the two easy ways: start the event, go to the back of the room the swordbearer spawns from and jump on top of the platforms in there... after a few seconds it'll automatically despawn everything on your side of the bridge for no apparent reason, so you can take out a sniper and kill everything on the other side to clear

if you're a warlock you don't even have to go to the back of the swordbearer room, you can just kill yourself and activate radiance when the game over timer hits 1 & that'll do the same thing

told you it was a fuckin' mess!

the next section does probably need a bladedancer and a gjallarhorn though

yeah at 32 with nobody to do hm crota's (which just sounds like an artificial difficulty increase from all the mobs being a level higher & the rewards known so far being...meh) & the next dlc out around the same time as bloodborne I think I'm done

ok, so tonight at like 8 EST, but I am still level 29 because i haven't been playing at all. I can either Crota or something else, whatever.

if it's a while i might make an effort to get things rolling for crota tonight

we should maybe commit to raiding a certain night every week? i'd like to keep enough people playing at least once a week so we can do Nu Raids if those are going to continue to be Genuinely Interesting Entertainments

Hard Mode actually has drops at every major juncture (after lamps, after bridge, after ir yut and at crota). I definitely want a reliable crew of 32's to try do the Raid. It looks pretttttty difficult.

tried hm crota last night, every single run was thwarted not by mistakes or bad play but glitches including:

swords disappearing
swordbearer spawning near the crystal
thrall attacking through the glass (?)
crota becoming immune to the sword while kneeling... with 1/2 hits left

oh bungie

other than that, i don't think it requires a full team of 32s at all (though a titan seems requisite) so we could try it maybe

Hmm. Seems like setting up the hangout would require me to know all of your emails/googlenames, which is kind of a bigger bother than it's worth.

But, hey, thursday! 7pm EST/UTC-5 is probably the earliest I could be ready for a raid thing (use the ever-useful http://everytimezone.com to figure out what that is where you live).
