From my experience, rather the concept art looks nice, and the game's a terrible mess. Weird lighting, visual discontinuity, and for some reason a fighting game when it could have been a pretty cool spy thing. And that combo system has to be the dumbest thing I've seen thought up in ages. Play the dumbest version of Simon Says, but only when Simon Says that you can play a certain version of Simon Says. Yeah. Radical. _________________

this game wanted to do a lot of interesting things, and i think, personally that there was something going on behind the scenes, as in, with the development of the title.
call it corporate politics or whatever, but i bet this game has a lot of really interesting stories behind the making of it, it, like really interesting third person shooter that was sadly saddled with standard market mechanics Dark Void absolutely reeks of a game that was originally filled with a lot of brilliant ideas but was either lacking the funds or the time to properly implement what they wanted |
I suppose that's a possibility, especially when you consider that the initial game looked a lot different than the final product. They even have in some of their preview documents that this wasn't a fighting game at all but a puzzle-platformer where you're rewriting the memories of those around you by hacking their brains and then basically using them like zombie puppets to do stuff for you. _________________
