So, if you're getting a new funbox this month, come in and post about how there's nothing to play for the next 6 months.

Also post about how it's going to inevitably malfunction somewhere in the coming year, because these days launch units are guaranteed to do so eventually.

I haven't used the PSN store on one of Sony's consoles yet, but the web version you can access with other computers isn't that good. It's slow and the available categories differ by region. Finding something using the navigation is a pain, so you use the search function. But you're only going to find something that way if you know what you're looking for.

For example, I'd like to see what PSOne Classics are on the EU PSN store. But there's no category for it, so I would have to browse all games of one system and weed them out one by one.

It's not. Stop trolling.

It is for those of us with modern systems, Benny-san.

No, it's not.

But, yes, if you're running on hardware that struggles to run OSes over a decade old without a lot of massaging then that statement isn't really true.

The power of my PC hardware has nothing to do with it.

Again, stop trolling.

I could easily dispute that, but then I remembered emulation exists and... yeah, when emulation is taken into account the PC is obviously the one system you'd want to have. With the original XBox being a distant second place, I guess.

Emulation exists on other platforms than the PC. The Xbox is not unique in that department.

From where I'm standing, the Wii is superior to the Xbox for emulation. It has a really nice port of SNES9x, and it's second to none for N64 emulation thanks to the Virtual Console (though a good homebrew port of a N64 emulator for PC exists as well).

Also, better lightgun support, though I personally would rather play those on the original console (because you can't aim without a cursor on the screen (I tried in Ghost Squad)).

and I agree that the PC is the most broadly "sensible" choice for gaming these days but I think it inherited that title from the PS2 which isn't necessarily the most straightforward step, so it's not like this is beyond dispute

I have no problem with your preference. My beef is DJ trolling by passing off his controversial opinion as fact (and then making an ass out of himself by attacking my personal situation).

Unless, of course, you're picking the Wii, then you're some sort of videogaming savant years beyond the selectbutton peasantry.

Aww, okay. Your "beef" is acknowledged: I'll switch it to "PC is indisputably the best for me personally but not BenRen who prefers the Wii, even taking emulation into account!" so nobody gets confused.

You dropped the PC master race act but you seem to be incapable of dropping the "lol wii" act.
