| That makes XIII-2 look far more coherent than it looked. |

The did a pretty major patch for this that cleans it up graphically somewhat but it is not even close to a full overhaul. They realigned some of the UI elements so they make a little more sense now, at least, and took out some of the gummi-looking gradient.
Still waiting for them to just admit defeat and allow a full reversion to the SNES version, but I guess if I really want that I have an emulator on my phone so meh. _________________

| You can't just slap the SNES version on a touchscreen phone either. Interacting with the menus with a virtual D-Pad would be a nightmare. There's a good reason to rewrite the game to some extent to make everything interactable with touch targets. Unfortunately they decided to ruin the art at the same time. |

i'm just not sure why they didn't give it the full 3d treatment somewhere, like on 3ds, the way they did with ff3 and ff4 on the ds
aside from those, the only one of these "upgrades" to an ff game i've really liked was the ff4 on gba
(and besides, i'd rather see them make more games like bravely default) _________________
