the later kingdom under fire circle of doom is pretty musou too, since it retains crowd cramming
kamen rider battride proves there's actual subtlety in the musou series that makes it less terrible than it could be
then there's saint seiya senki, and gundam breaker and castlevania curse of darkness which uses dynasty warrior's combat system, but actually manages to remove more depth from the combat
koei has some non-franchise musou titles too: mystic heroes, trinity: souls of zill o’ll, and crimson sea (maybe)
star wars battlefront and lotr conquest and tangentially related, being the western cousins of musou
then ofc there's spartan total warrior which is what musou games should aspire to be _________________

oops, that shows i haven't played the game in almost a decade.
and i have little to no exposure to battlefield at all. _________________
