I know a lot of you probably aren't going to buy this argument, but for me, the price point of EDF is a medium-is-the-message sort of thing.
While 2017 is one of my favorite games, and I respect it much more than any AAA title, the $20 price tag was part of its charm for me--the feeling of buying something ostensibly stupid and cheesy and feeling like you're buying it on an impulse. I mean, it's supposed to be a "B-game" after all.
Personally, I only really feel comfortable buying games for $20 or below anyway, so I guess I'm going to wait to play EDF the way I do every other game, which is kind of a downer.

| The original was a simple 2000 game. They've obviously expanded a lot since then. I mean, the last 2 that came out in America were both 40 dollars on launch so um, ugh, whatever, I give up. |
Wait, they were? If so, that only lasted, like, a week. _________________ "Godzilla could be anyone."
