Well I went and bought a PS4 and decided this would be my first digital game with it.
I really enjoy it so far. I love that Capcom resisted the urge to throw in a ton of back story. You're basically plopped into some weird Neo-Moscow place and faced with the same weird atmosphere, which is something I've always admired about the original arcade release. So far there's no mecha gorillas but I feel like it's coming.
