By some goddamn miracle I got As on my last three papers, despite one of them being only about 75% done and all of them being thrown together in the space of about 8 hours each the night before they were due. This secured me an A in the course, to go with the other As I recieved this semester. My GPA is lovin' it. _________________

Hey, okay!
My friend who had acid spilled on her, turned out it wasn't bad at all! I just was all worried about it the whole time because I had no idea how bad it was till two days later, and man, what a relief.
Saturday night I got a call from my old friend Lou who I might get together with soon for a music project!
My job doesn't suck a lot right now!
There's a lot of events this weekend I might try to go catch that are Derby Festival related!
Yeah! _________________

So! I'm on a kind of summer break right now, though it's actually starting in springtime, which is great because I love spring much more :3
My final grades for the last semester are comin' in, and it looks like, unless I fail any courses, that I'll get into the university I applied to for a transfer. Which is great, because this campus sucks and their's [while much farther away] is really really nice which courses that I actually want to take and stuff.
Oh and Apostle of Hustle [side band of some Broken Social Scene members] is having a show here in a couple weeks, so I'm pretty pumped up for that! _________________ o-/< --- o-\< --- o-|-| --- o^-< |

| I'm fixing to move out of this dump, and I got to hang out with some friends last night that I haven't been able to hang out with in quite a while due to certain circumstances involving an idiot. :3 |

Some nice girl is moving near me soon :D
I rocked the shit out of my last couple of finals. No As, but I'm passing a class I was having trouble in, and getting decent grades elsewhere. One more to go until the semester is over!
Someone mowed our lawn while I was asleep. I don't know who did it, but I'd like to thank them. It was a good mowing job. |

Being down is so played out. Earlier this year I was like, man, I need to get over the past and take advantage of the opportunities available to me and determine my future. I did a lot of fun things, a lot of meaningful things, and a lot of academic things. I'm happy now, but it did take more effort than being pissy and depressed.
Granted there are plenty of circumstantial reasons to be depressed just, generally, not permanently.
Chu, you're right. Hey, we're all literate and at least well enough off to have food, internet access, and enough leisure to talk about videogames (even if we rarely play them lol). Let's rock! |

I got a really sick snowboard in the mail that I bought off ebay last week that I've been wanting for a really long time:
but the bad news is I won't be using it for like 6 months :(
the good news is it looks cool sitting in the corner of my apartment :) _________________ PSN Online ID: SylentButDeadly |

Oh holy god man Coachella. My best friend just left on a roadtrip for that show.
Rage Against The Machine ~~ so jealous...
Though times are also good here! I just got my guitar re-stringed and it sounds like something maybe legendary. I just realized that I've actually got several hours to kill so I can choose between videogames and a big ol' fantasy novel. These are happy choices!
Guys, I think this thread is a great counterweight to all the usual axe emo bullshit. This is where we get PUMPED UP about STUFF. _________________ o-/< --- o-\< --- o-|-| --- o^-<

Alright, to clarify, I slept with Churippu at our New Years Eve party, while she was still seeing Apol. I'm not proud of what I did, and I would rather not have my private life be public record, but I feel like I might as well be honest with everyone. I regret not being honest with Apol, but that's how life goes.
Churippu is a wonderful woman, and she's the best thing to happen to me in my entire life. I love her, and I'm not ashamed to say it!
I'm sorry I hurt you, and I wouldn't wish what I did to you on anyone. |

Got back my marks from 2nd year - 2nd semester Canadian university and it blew me away. I had thought I would be teetering on the edge of no scholarships but these classes nudge me well past that point!
I'm going to be moving to an awesome house filled with friends and a decent-sized bedroom to furnish. It is miles above where I had lived previously in all shapes and forms. It's still within reasonable distance of the campus and shops. The rent is fairly low, just a minor increase to what I was doling out for the previous house. |

Hey! I found a mp3 I really wanted today and it was great and I totally bought some "j-pop pajamas" :D they have Hello Kitty on them and they are cute!!! (AND SO J-POP AS EVERYONE HAS SAID)
:( but I ended up not getting shoes because the pair I wanted was too large for my tiny feet and the ones I really liked that were in my size were pretty expensive even on sale! I decided to save the money :3 |

Last night I did not have to cook dinner for 120 people. This meant I could kick back and nap and such after my 10:00-11:00 class ended.
I watched Clerks II with my lady friend that night (who covered my dinner cooking responsibilities), and sort of sat there awkwardly for the duration of the movie (it didn't help that she didn't enjoy it, either, though I can understand why - Good God Kevin Smith quit trying to be sentimental and keep with the jokes). I was all "Oh shit Brock, smooth move on this one, better find a way to make this up."
But then we kissed until like 3:00 AM, and again at 9:30 when I had to cover cooking brunch for her. I am guessing the whole kissing her goodbye was sort of a classy touch.
And then that whole cooking business turned out to be easy as hell, all cooking porkchops and couscous and such. People were all "Damn dude these are some good porkchops and vegetables" and I am saying "Credit goes to the ladies who helped me, though I took care of the porkchops."
Other than that, today has been like sort of ho-hum. A tall Frenchman just replaced a broken set of blinds in my room (that I asked to be replaced by the maintenance guy months ago), and later tonight my Co-Op is throwing some sort of colossal, house-wide party.
It is likely I will either get drunk and party it up, or hang out with the girl, or both.
But yeah goddamn this has been a hell of a start to the weekend. Shame I've got a research paper sort of looking to shit all over it tomorrow night, but for now, these are good times. |
