| What you mean to say is "hey my semester is over and wow it's spring and nice outside and woah hey how bout this PS2 with a HD and shit? I'm totally gonna get Hokuto No Ken on that bad boy soon thanks to smartblue and co., you know, once I get back over there or whatever!" |
Semester IS over, or will be when I finish this last online test, it IS gorgeous outside, except the frost we had a few weeks ago killed my Japanese Maples, and I do have a PS2 with a HD but it is difficult for me to find happiness in material objects.
But I had an awesome dream last night that will translate well into a story of some sort. _________________ “We completely understand the public’s concern about futuristic robots feeding on the human population, but that is not our mission,” - Harry Schoell, Cyclone Power Technologies Inc, in response to erroneous reports about a robot under development. |

A weel or so ago I was putting an empty Snapple(R) bottle back in my satchel when I heard a clink and found my copy of SRWOG2 that had been missing for months and that I thought my friend's cousin had stolen. _________________

I cleaned up my shit today, and (had to) reinstall windows, which went smoothly, thankfully.
It was a beautiful day today! Also, I think I might be inching closer to relationships with various womens... _________________

is there a lot of LA douche bags there tho?
I can hear it now (repeat in a raspy, fake stoner tone then raise your voice at the end of each sentence) "yeah its gonna be so chill. we're like going to coachella this weekend. yaa fur sure". |
The crowd was awesome : ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Especially for acts like !!!, MSTRKRFT, Girl Talk, Bjork, Cornelius, Teddybears...man nevermind with the listing. Anyway, I had a lot of fun! I am still in a happy hazy music overload mood. _________________

| Found out the passenger side window an SF crackhead hurled a dopamine-addled left hook through to steal things will only cost about $100 in deductible to repair and should be done by the end of the week. |

I get to work two massive double shifts at the bar/restaurant this weekend and it is going to be exhausting yet awesome because I will be surrounded by beautiful women and hopefully making lots of money. I have to miss out on seeing AMT in Detroit tomorrow, but, um. I think it will be worth it! And it's AMT's fault for not being there a day or two earlier/later!
Hrm. Honestly, everything's kind of a mixed bag like that. At least I've got a pretty good attitude about things right now. Next week I'm going to order the last couple of parts I need to FINALLY build my new computer and get off of this wheezing old laptop, so that's pretty cool! After that I'm going to continue socking away money and thinking about places I might like to move to (Seattle fell through for a couple of reasons). Maybe I'll make that long-dreamt-of return to the bay area. _________________

I delivered my first real formal presentation to my English class on Tuesday. I compared Rand to constituting a modern mythology and a cult.
I also am finally going to be able to set up a college adviser meeting and register for courses soon. ^__^ _________________ last.fm

I got fucking paid.
Picked up a few CDs at the local shop before heading into work (Throbbing Gristle's The Endless Not, Circle's Arkades, and Crimson Umbrella by Rakhim (psychedelic/ambient/drone "black metal" by dudes from Circle and Pharoah Overlord)). Later today, after a good eight or so hours of sleep, I'll go and catch a movie or two. _________________

Sat back and realized that this summer, unlike many previous summers, will be filled with trips to places:
Virginia for a wedding
PA for the hell of it
Maine to see some relatives
With a little luck I will have a good digi cam by the time I go to the last two and will be able to go exploring in some woods and take cool pictures. It's been a while since I've really done any photography so I'm pretty excited. |

not really things that happened to me but today was a good day! i picked up the apparently insidiously rare and fun trickstar game for the gba (see also this thread), had a lovely 90+minutes pink sweets shmup'ing session and then i read that my favorite shmup developer cave is publishing a new shooter under the direction of ikeda(apparently) no less and the only image of it looks quite intriguing.
just some positiveness to cheer up the depressed axe. :) _________________

I woke up after a big night drinking, thinking I'd done fine.
I only found out later that I'd pissed on my friends shoes and vomited on the dog.
Funny thing is I don't remember.
Uh oh!
