I get to work two massive double shifts at the bar/restaurant this weekend and it is going to be exhausting yet awesome because I will be surrounded by beautiful women and hopefully making lots of money. I have to miss out on seeing AMT in Detroit tomorrow, but, um. I think it will be worth it! And it's AMT's fault for not being there a day or two earlier/later!

Hrm. Honestly, everything's kind of a mixed bag like that. At least I've got a pretty good attitude about things right now. Next week I'm going to order the last couple of parts I need to FINALLY build my new computer and get off of this wheezing old laptop, so that's pretty cool! After that I'm going to continue socking away money and thinking about places I might like to move to (Seattle fell through for a couple of reasons). Maybe I'll make that long-dreamt-of return to the bay area.

I got fucking paid.

Picked up a few CDs at the local shop before heading into work (Throbbing Gristle's The Endless Not, Circle's Arkades, and Crimson Umbrella by Rakhim (psychedelic/ambient/drone "black metal" by dudes from Circle and Pharoah Overlord)). Later today, after a good eight or so hours of sleep, I'll go and catch a movie or two.
