I wish this game had Reach's Invasion mode or a similar game type (I think it's called Rush in BF3). There's no sense of pushing back enemy lines - just lone wolves taking and losing points across the map. I really enjoyed the suburban chapter of MW2, Pripyat, etc. and there is none of that here.

It's a pretty good interactive chat room for me and my brother.

@notbov, I'm running it at 1080p with high settings and 8xMSAA (i5 3350p, 2GB 7850). I get dips into the 40s on Lagoon and Demeter, but it's generally pretty smooth.

This is still pretty fun. My girlfriend is excited to build her computer so she can get in on the bar-filling action.

I'm nearing the level cap. I never prestiged in CoD, is it really just a social status marker? I don't want to lose all of my kit and go back to wallhanging shotgun skirmishes.

Origin sucks in this game because the game appears to use four different network services (Azure, XBL, Origin, and Respawn's matchmaking) so sometimes you can get into a server but can't get Origin invite/join notifications to work. More points of failure = worse experience.

I definitely prefer the tension of Last Titan Standing for non-objective modes. The balance between the Titan loadouts feels nice and the survivability helps people (like me) who don't have the best FPS reflexes.

Respawn said private matches are coming post-launch, but so are PhysX, 4K (???), and HBAO+. No time table for any of that.

Vis a vis Halo, I have no idea what kind of options you'll get in a private match setting for this game. Can you give everyone similar equips in CoD?

I've decided I'm just not going to regenerate so my obsessive-compulsive tendencies don't drive me crazy.

I like how the support roles aren't reduced to running around with defib paddles or a repair tool in this. There's a good variety of ways to help and they all have crunch to them.

It is on PC, and it does not have a combined player pool. However, controller users get sticky auto-aim when using ADS, so they're not immediately at a disadvantage vs. KBM players. My K/D is about the same at my desk or on the couch.
