furthest I got was endgame when I needed to collect all 4 lints or something. Make sure to pick up and keep any lint you see. I really love/hate the puzzle on the vogon ship because how you do it can screw you up for the rest of the game even if you nominally succeed. It's actually I think one of the most memorable puzzles in an IF setting.

Douglas Adams' Bureaucracy was really fun too. The finest in what would be the parallel to platforming hell for Interactive Fiction
