yeah i heard about that dlc thing.
i actually think a couple of the dlc weapons are fairly decent, now that i've sunk time into the game? but none of them are particularly good and they're not going to be a win game button for sure.
was also hearing you can just make that file and it acts like you got the dlc. |
Yeah I'm dual wielding homunculus maces for PvE. Late game enemies just really call for good striking damage. |

| "Mundane" should be an element/power in more games. |
Except the game encourages you to level indefinitely, which means "mundane" actually means "ultimately the best so fuck everything else" which is a bummer.
Ah yeah, Talbain, I also just got the Clear Bluestone Ring +2 last night and it's a must for my Acid Surge PvP build. I hadn't even considered it before, but it cuts down the cast time so significantly I had to. |

| Oh, so that's what Mundane infusion is for? Extremely high level characters? I was reading about it in the wiki and I was wondering why would anyone use it over any other type of infusion. |
It scales with your lowest stat, and it scales heavily. |

| I really am referring to people who over-level, and who choose appropriate weapons for the scaling. But fair enough! I mean, you def have more experience than me with it. |

I'm not really raging :\
I am, however, probably overestimating Mundane.
I can imagine mundane broken straight sword is nightmarish.
Also, it's what makes Havelyn's so effective (which I've specifically heard you complain about)
It works well on daggers, twinblades (so santier's but yeah).
I wonder if it's any good for those dragon weapons that don't scale, or if their high AR offsets the benefits? I was kind of considering doing a minimum stat req build for Raw dragon weps - though I'm not even sure they're infuse-able. |

| I mean certainly it's only for very specific cases. |
