Ready to watch Mega Man block. These Sonic speedruns are hilarious to watch though. Some seriously lazy collision detection. _________________

I was quite entertained by the 4-Swords Adventure run. It seems like that has some pretty heavy technical skills needed to run it solo and manage the 4 Links. Dude would do some serious mashing on the cube pad. _________________

| 8-eyes is such a plodding game, for some reason my hazy recollections of playing it as a Blockbuster rental in my youth don't match up to this at all. |

Yeah those guys were entertaining. I wish Romscout wouldn't have toyed with that elevator glitch so that he could have come closer, if not surpassing, the world record time. _________________

sotn was great. a friend did touhouvania immediately afterwards which was honestly a pretty good run even if he hated the run itself afterwards haha. _________________ twit |

| I missed most of the runs I've wanted to see because of work and went to work rather sleep deprived. Did anyone make a big list of vod time links? |

I tuned in to one of the snow races and was like "wait, why is he in the canyon? This is one of the glitchier ones..." and realized he was doing it glitchless. =/
This day has been rather low energy. |

I enjoy the fact that Goldeneye runs are as much about making the framerate not shit itself as knowing routes and strats _________________

dacidbro. though i half wonder if cosmo had asked him to make "what the hell is this" type comments throughout the run so he could deadpan answers on purpose _________________ twit |

Is there an archive of the Metal Wolf Chaos stream? Anyone know any links to the FLVs/MP4s or whatever?
EDIT: I'm an idiot:

upon watching the beginning of the metal wolf chaos run that i missed, i realized something
richard's gesture as you're fleeing the white house at the beginning became the decapitate gesture in ds2.
thank you from
i know what i must do now. _________________ twit |

at least the organizers are smart/decent enough to not do that sort of thing. _________________ twit |

<3 you guys!
Guardian Heroes gave me pretty stupid RNG, I can do that run 1-2 minutes faster on any given run. But it doesn't really matter, the commentary was dece and people were generally positive. I saw some people give me shit for playing on Easy, but those same people would be bored stiff if I played on Hard.
goatrope is a good friend and a true OG (I heard of him in 2004), i know he was super super nervous about the halo run, like "about to vomit" nervous. I'm glad it went great and that I could be a part of that. We even got tweeted by 343 Industries, they had a bunch of the devs just sitting around watching a speedrun. Seeing Halo speedrunning explode like it has over the past 6 months is something I'm really proud of.

Guy on couch saying the Princess Peach shower scene in The Thousand-Year Door would "literally print money" as a donation incentive.
Woman on the opposite end of the couch is visibly made uncomfortable by the comment.
I had only been watching for three minutes.
We've still got years to go. |
A guy got banned from the event for being creepy, unhygienic, following people around. He happened to be one of the ppl in my room. As he was packing his shit he made rants about how he was "just trying to be friendly" and a "nice guy". #nerdculture
Organizers are really good ppl who are conscious about these issues. Give me a timestamp and I'll bring it up to somebody in charge. _________________ stream - steam - tweets

Reed, bummed I missed your GH run! I remember last time there was a reddit thread linking to time indexes to the archived twitch streams, but can't seem to fight anything right now. Might just have to wait till it hits the archive? _________________

I expect "AGDQ Uploads" to get to GH up on YouTube pretty soon but they are uploading things out of order so I am not sure. _________________

Yeah, but its much farther behind than whomever is doing this ADGQ uploads. (i.e., they don't have any for this event up yet, and took months to do the last event). _________________
