I've thought about this for a day now and honestly can't come up easily with any world that I like "best".
Maybe because I am a sucker for bgms that make a world "work" for me? Maybe because they often feel like setpieces?
Idk … but still, the following few came to mind:
The wonderful wacky worlds presented in recent Rayman games, just watching what goes on onscreen can be fun, and it might be exactly that feeling of fun that Ubi managed to capture perfectly well recently.
The Katamari games have wonderful places to experience a lot of odd/weird stuff going on, e.g. Kajiu-monsters chasing planes and 'stuff.
Resonance of Fate / End of Eternity had a nice idea of integrating towns and dungeons in a tower. FF Crystal Chronicles, Magna Carta 2 and Baten Kaitos Origins also had nice (RPG-esque) worlds, but somehow I cannot put my finger on any of these and say "yupp, this is why I like that world".
But maybe I've been approaching this too seriously,

does make me think of entirely different games now. I'll be back after thinking about this! _________________
