Yeah - frankly, I was mostly being a jerk. If you don't play games, there's not much reason not to get a laptop.

Sure, it's got its disadvantages - everything does - but I think for the non-gamer, laptops are pretty much the way to go. The convenience of the portability is pretty nice, especially with wifi all over the place now. (Before wifi, I couldn't understand why anyone except a businessman would EVER get a laptop.)
