The virtual tour of the Louvre lets you listen to tour guide descriptions of exhibits while in sleep mode.

Final Fantasy Theatrythm's sound test mode functions as a music player.

Unfortunately all of these kill the battery about as fast as if you had the DS open and running with the screen on and everything :/
