I've been playing the 3DS game a bit and I like how the gameplay doesn't hinge around convoluted, unintuitive control inputs like most tournament fighters. Also Team Ninja has some of the best 3D character animators in the industry, even post-Itagaki. |
DOA 2 Ultimate is probably the best one for my money. It hit the right balance between fleshed out and balanced gameplay (For DOA anyway) and luscious production values at the time.
