As a community SB is somewhere between "totally fucking awesome!" and "good on its good days." but as a platform for serious discussion it's usually "eh." Now all we need is to figure out what we want it to be, cause getting the best of both worlds sadly doesn't seem to be an option anymore.
I also vouch for the unbanning of James. I'd rather have half of the Axe-only crew banned than him.

Because, pretentious as they may be, these type of ideas eventually will lead to more interesting thoughts being expressed than in any other threads. Agreed on all counts. There are other communities for gaming talk, some which are actually better suited for that then SB (SA gaming forum, for example, it even has it's own gaming Axe now!), but the SB and TGQ flavour of taking the medium way too seriously was, is and hopefully will be my main reason for coming here.
That, and the distinct personalities a lot of the members have. You don't get that as much elsewhere.
