I don't care what you guys think. I love shorts.

Denim shorts can gtfo, though.

I've been wearing shorts a lot lately. The hair on the back of my legs has finaly grown back. My legs aren't pale as hell anymore.

And I feel alive.

Not to say that I don't like jeans, guys. I love 'em! But I like to spend a fair amount of time outdoors, and shorts are the shiznit.

/discuss how much you really like shorts.

I just ordered a pretty nice looking pair of boardshorts.

You won't find a lot of great looking shorts out and about, but try looking in skate magazines or something.

i've never really felt comfortable going places in shorts unless it's like the absolute depths of summer (which we're nearing, here). i don't know. i'm a pants guy, i suppose, though i have had this one pair of gray boardshorts since like seventh grade, now, which is my oldest clothing item still in use by a pretty decent margin.

Board shorts are alright, and so are plaid ones. I have a dark pair of plaid shorts from Express which are seeing quite a bit of use. I prefer wearing jeans, but if I'm not trying to be cool then shorts have their use.

I kind of want to get a pair of bright red oldschool short gym shorts for when I go running or like... to be goofy. I don't know. Shorts are fun.

But yeah, jean shorts are no nos. If you're asian or just generally wacky you can pull off the rolled up jeans (or the really high cuff), but that's as far as you can go.

I don't like board shorts.

I am currently wearing a pair of navy blue shorts cut right above the knee...pretty comfortable.

Honestly I wish it wasn't so hot today.

unless I'm at work shorts and flip flops is pretty much my year-round uniform (I hail from san diego).

I mean, if I'm like going to a restaurant or a bar I'll put some pants and some shoes on but the rest of the time i'll be in shorts.

Used to love 'em, but once I started working - even my first jobs at retail - they were forbidden. So I've gotten used to pants all year round. I've got some shorts that I wear around, but there's no rhyme or reason to it.

Also, folks always say to me that short people look shorter wearing them (including looking at me), and that's the last thing I need.

Get some board shorts or some plaid shorts, Hot Stott, and just wear a decent t-shirt with them. You'll look fine.

And you'll be hella comfortable.

God. I haven't worn shorts since I was 12. No fooling! I wear slacks or jeans on a regular basis. My mommy bought me a few pairs of dickies that suit me just fine given my job and man! If you sweat and labor at work GET SOME DICKIES!!! Most comfortable pants ever in 100+ degree heat EVER!

I like shorts. not anymore than other kinds of leg clothing, but I like them. denim shorts too. I wear shorts often because I love mountain biking. I also wear shorts with long sleeve shirts and or jerseys often because of this!

Well the problem is that most shorts look downright stupid. Most men's shorts are far too big and baggy, and you end up looking like a fool. It's hard to find a pair that shows off my sturdy thighs, unless they're really short and very tight, and that's another problem right there. I have these Paul Frank shorts that look pretty good. I wish there was a fabric that was similar to madras but that wasn't so fucking loud looking. Linen or seersucker, maybe?
