| So they tried to attract the urban youth market, and found out no one wanted to pay the bills. I'm not at all surprised. When I was in college people would still look at me cross eyed whenever I went online to pay my Sprint bill. Kids get cell phones from a pretty young age now, and I think a lot of them find responsibly paying for your own bill to be a foreign concept. |

Slipstream's the one who brought it up. I'm not going to shy away from the issue with "NO NOT BLACK PEOPLE. THIS ISN'T A RACE THING." Rather, admiting that yes, I figure some black people likely are included in the figure seemed like the mature thing to do.
Also, I'm fat. So there's that.

My buddy and I have been trying to figure out what to get my mom, because she'll never buy a cell phone on her own, but really needs one just in case she breaks down or something and I have to go get her.
We actually looked at Amp'd 2 days ago and were like, I dunno.. something seems wrong with that. Bad feeling.
I do need to get her something cheap, though, maybe Virgin. She'd probably not use anymore than what's on their lowest plan anyway. |

I had virgin mobile when I was a teen, and it was a decent service. As long as she doesn't text message, the minutes should last her a while. _________________

| I'm still trying to teach her how to copy and paste things on the computer, so her figuring out text messaging will probably be a while. So I think we're safe. |
