Boot Camp is just a BIOS mod that lets Windows boot. So you're booting Windows. It's Windows on Intel hardware. It runs as well as the hardware runs it.
The 24" iMac with the 256MB GeForce 7600 GT lets you run Half-Life 2 / other Source Engine games at native 1920x1200 with 4xAA and 4xAF at solid 60fps (HDR turned off). That machine can also run Quake 4 at mostly 60 with 2xAA. This the machine I'm using right now.
The 20-inchers have a more pitiful ATI card that can push 30-45 at the native 1680x1050 in those games. Weaker fillrate means you'll probably have to go without AA for a more stable frame rate. |
