Sonny Chiba at his best perhaps? This is an excellent marshal arts movie, with better than decent acting.


Bad show: Basilisk

An absolutely terrible anime. Painful and hard to watch. I'd rather not describe it.

I tried to watch Basilisk last night, actually. It was on late on IFC.

Karate Bullfighter was on this morning.

Now Karate Bearfighter is on! \m/

Sonny Chiba was sitting at this table at a restaurant, wearing a swanky white suit and sunglasses.

Then some shadowy-looking guys beat up his friend.


It's on now.

Yeah this girl "sealed her eyes" (she was blind or something), and this other guy had sealed eyes as well and was all surprised that she had sealed her eyes.

Then later this guy died, and his neck opened up and turned into a second mouth, and then the girl unsealed her eyes and the bad guys were all surprised about that.

It sounds awesome and stupid, but really it's just stupid and dumb and hard to watch.

No, it's about some awesome old martial arts movies and a really terrible anime.
