Fast food joints seem to vary regionally. Back when I lived in O.C., they had Taco Bells by the national Taco Bell HQ, which maintained considerably higher standards than the shlock they serve out here in Vegas. And as far as Burger King? I can't bring myself to eat Burger King out here, but it was often pretty nice down in SoCal. Especially at this one particular one near my former house, which had higher prices but higher quality meat from a local vendor.
So today is the 17th. Did you meet up with your ladyperson, Toups-san?

oh god theres this place on mount hamilton called the tamale factory -- total hole in the wall but the CHEAPEST AND MOST DELICIOUS TAMALES and thats all they sell. beautiful
