Man, if you're in San Jose tell me you are at least hitting up some taco trucks or at very least a tamale lady. Those are totally my favorite things about good ol' San Ho.

I have nothing bad to say about pho.

Up in Marin (where I work) there are neighborhoods where these older ladies roll around what look like ice cream carts (for some reason, actual ice cream carts are always run by middle-aged men); however, these are actually tamale carts and dear lord they are always ridiculously cheap and good (the tamales).

I am unaware of this "cheese wheel". I might have to do some investigating. Most of the Mexican food I get is actually pretty upscale, aside from cart tamales.

Booj - In 'n Out will give you as many as you want. I know somebody who ordered an 8x8 with great regularity (that is 8 patties, which, it must be said, were generally split into two 4x4s). There are also Scripture reference numbers printed on the inside of the bottom of their cups.

The only places I've been able to find that make decent fries are falafel places. I have no idea why this is.
