We'll see how Mexico does in the remaining Gold Cup games. They really dominated that game against Costa Rica in the quarters and after Guadeloupe upset Honduras, they have a pretty good chance of going to the final after looking like crap in the group stage.

The match between the USA and Canada should be a good one, mainly because Canada's looking really good right now. De Guzman is international class and they've got enough good players around him that they should give the USA a real tough time.

Booj, Rabite, soccer shows up on the free Spanish-language Univision and Telefutura networks. These cover most of the US at this point, although I don't know if they've made it all the way to Cleveland. Yes, it's Spanish-only; however, all the American soccer commentary blows goats so you're probably better off in that case.

Winker, Guardado has played pretty well so far, they're playing him as an out-and-out left winger as far as I can tell, he obviously needs a lot of work in terms of finishing and he sometimes has trouble with his crosses, he's usually sheer class though.

The Copa America should be sweet, it'll be on Univision/Telefutura/Gol TV, I know that Brazil is bringing a second-strong squad, then again, they won it last time they did that. I'm interested to see what kind of team Argentina puts out there after what I thought was a disturbingly pedestrian side in the World Cup (or at least in the elimination rounds).

Pedestrian Argentina wut the second round game with Mexico was the game of the tournament. They're fielding a fairly strong side (Tevez yo), Messi and Maxi Rodriquez are two who i'll miss from the squad.

The weakened Brazil team should be interesting, there are some big if unglamorous names in there (Gilberto and Alex for example) and the attacking players such as Fred and Vagner Love (great name) I haven't had a chance to see much before. The only notable absence is Ronaldo, who I can't see making another big tournament and expressed a desire to play :(

Guys I love Sopcast in theory but it always hangs and buffers forever on my comp what can I do to remedy this?

I like players on the Australian team.
But the commentators here are all really smug and not at all self-effacing, which is a big turn off. It was disgusting during the World Cup, apparently a commentator got sued for being THAT biased.
So the atmosphere here when Australia play football is a bit ridiculous. They're quite a good team, though. Viduka, Aloisi (kind of), Bresciano, Neill, Cahill...these guys are world class.

But also, IRAN. I am Iranian in case you didn't know.

Maz, I don't root for Ireland or Scotland because of quality I root for them because they are plucky upstarts whose enthusiastic fans and dubious genetic relationship to myself make up for the shit football.
