As a general rule I've found that almost any board that is strictly dedicated to a rather obscure/eccentric subject matter can be an interesting read for a night or two.
Here for example is a fairly big forum with tons of subboards dedicated to the fine art of pole vault.
Also, SA runs (or used to run) features dedicated to mocking strange Internet forums populated by idiots. Not sure what it was called, though, and currently I don't feel like checking it out either.

| DonMarco is just sort of Diet Legalstep though. You know, the so-burned-out-on-this-forum-that-it-comes-back-around-to-some-twisted-form-of-insincere-enthusiasm type. Legal Step has the advantage of being an old, wisened sagelike figure on the forum though, and has Meg White's funbags as an avatar. Sorry DM :( |

Well actually I was kind of looking for forums where the entertainment value isn't really at the expense of the forum's patrons. Because I'm a nice guy like that. |
