Kiki's IS my favorite from Miyazaki.
its refreshing to watch, because its a pretty happy and positive movie, whereas most movies have some pivotal conflict or negativity that drives the main characters to some end. kiki's story just sort of happens, happily. the world is really well realized. and I'm a Jiji fan.
*also, the scene with the dirigible is excellent. its so well executed. the supsense grips me every time. |
