Truly a most innovative musician!
some thing you might want to listen to, from his early years onwards to 2007:
1980 - P-Model on some NHK-show.
1992 - Speedtube and them being girls-idols ... kind of.
1992 as well, going crazy and doing a schraddel-guitar-solo,
worth a watch!
1994 - Aurora, kicking off a more mature and relaxed style.
1995 - a bit more thai-inspired music
1997 - Ashura Clock with P-Model
1997 - Berserk-Ed, take a look at the ost too since he did great with that one.
The DC-Game Berserk - Sword of Guts rage (or something like that) featured some tracks from him as well, especially the masterpiece
Forces II, don't get distracted by the PS2-game coverage, he only did the op/ed there.
1998 i think, new/evolved style again
2000+:
His energy-works, featuring a freaky live-performance of Forces 1.5
2003:
a track of his live show performance
2005 - op for a NHK-show
be sure to listen to his anime-related things (berserk, paranoia agent, millennium actress, paprika, detonator orogun) as well as him supporting other musicians, unfortunately there aren't that much vids around ... like his works for shun or the globe trotters.
Anyway, watch more if you want to and drop by with impressions!

nobody has mentioned piano yet? it's ... very girly and if it wasn't for fujishima being involved, i wouldn't know anything about it, but there you go.
[edit] should mention that nothing happens at all. watch the daily life of a 14(?) year old (not to sure about that age) girl.
as for the hirasawa/P-MODEL-torrent, it's .... uh, worth it. If you did like his vids (like you did), you want to have that as well. Enjoy!
