so apparently there is so much forest firing going on up here in alaska right now, there there is an air quality warning of "120" meaning anyone with respiratory problems should avoid exercise outside.

I wondered why it smelled like campfire outside today.

It's that time of year in the Las Vegas area where there are air health warnings so often that it's basically a given. 100+ degrees in the shade, 3% humidity, lots of ozone.

Honestly? I would enjoy it if it didn't make my beautiful been-growing-this-for-eight-years hair shed for a few months.

yeah, alaska is supposed to be the "Last" place to have clean air. being new here, I thought it was funny. everyone's state pride all smoked out.

apparently the fire was started by someone sharpening a shovel.

yeah right! starting a fire with a spark is di-ffi-cult. and even then, its not like grass is made of gas. dood was probably gettin crunk on whiskey, spilled some, and then dropped his cigarette on it.
