Along the lines of what zeb said, I might consider attending one of these if it happened in my area, but only because it sounds like a big, exciting spectacle. I'm not sure if this means I'm missing the point, since a "pride festival" for anything would probably be a big, exciting spectacle--and not particularly purport to reflect the daily lives of its participants, only their values (in some vague way). Maybe I just don't get it, though. _________________
