leather pride was last weekend in new york. i saw a whole lot of half-naked men in vests and boots. and the occasional macrame codpiece.

there's the dyke march tonight, too. i want to walk with my friends but i also know that if i attempt to walk a parade i will die.

because it's a lot of friggin' walking.
not that i'm not used to doing a lot of walking. i'm just worried i won't be able to keep up. like in march a bunch of us went down to the sutro baths in san francisco and i was straggling way behind while aderack leapt nimbly amongst the skeletal walls of ancient, abandoned bathhouses. and then we climbed up this cliff and when we got to the top he was like oops we can't get to the parking lot from here better go back down and i was like waugh! anyway there might be only like four of us so i might end up holding the banner for our group and i do not want to be slowing down the banner. also it's murder walking that far in my boots and walking the dyke march in anything else is out of the question.
