iGoogle in general is pretty awesome. It's reminds me of those shitty spy ware taskbars my dad's laptop is overrun with; only non intrusive, easy on the eyes and well...actually useful!
Grab Google Calender and the "to-do list" tab. Then maybe throw in Gmail, a weather tab, and either CNN or BBC news. But don't bother with Google maps as it's kind of gimped and you'll end up having to visit the actual site anyway.

| It may not be showing, but I'm kind of a mess right now. I've got dozens of projects online and off that I could start working on at a moments notice, but which I can never settle on which to do. I've never been very good at time management skills like prioritization , careful time allocation or flexible scheduling, so it all seems kind of futile right now. |
I suppose everyone has their own way of doing things, but I've found that scheduling is only helpful when you have a whole shit load of gatherings/appointments/jobs/classes at irregular and constantly changing times; more than one can keep track of without eventually forgetting something or accidentally scheduling two events for the same time.
If you're just having trouble deciding on a project to start, then just pick something and fucking steamroll it. Mapping out tiny chunks of time for a bunch of random projects is only going to a) waste a lot of time figuring out the proper allotments each task requires OR b) lead to disappointment when you miss that 5:30 appointment to work on the cover article for next month's Cat Fancy (but only for EXACTLY one hour). _________________
