| Yeah, this is really odd. The one story i saw on it said that all the police would state was that it WASN't a shooting. Very odd to state that, i think. |

Yeah, I am kinda with Endless on this. Regardless of who Benoit was, usually when a person does this it isn't out of being "evil" but more usually out of being insane for some reason or another. Actually, calling someone evil seems like something people should probably try to avoid, as it brings up whole questions of good and evil that I don't really feel like getting into.
Also, the suplex theory would be the strangest icing on this cake possible, which might make it the best. |

Fort90: Yeah, I can see that. It is a very weird world to be involved in. But even as such, Benoit seemed almost sane for a wrestler.
Waffen: Saying a person is insane is not saying he is blameless. In fact, in my mind it tneds to imply a degree of blame, as he didn't get thinks taken care of before it became a problem.
To say that he is evil simply because he is rich and killed people is just stupid.
To say that someone who murders someone who is innocent is evil is also quite problematic. Look at any war. |

If a guy's mentally unbalanced enough to the point were he kills his own family, it's entirely unhelpful, not to mention just plain petulant, to brand him as evil, a term which is pretty much a sophism anyway. |
