I know a lot of guys who watch wrestling and I sometimes get coerced into enjoying it as well. Back in the day, Chris Benoit was one of a handful of WCW superstars who made me give half a shit about sweaty staged theatrical fighting as an unknown Middle Schooler.
The Canadian wrestlers were always my favorites. Sad to see another one go the way of Owen Hart.
Oh hey, username. Most people who run out and kill their family and then themselves do so out of some intense mental breakdown, as opposed to, you know, killing everyone for the heck of it.
You ass. _________________

| I've also heard a few people rumbling about how this event has "exposed" the WWE since Vince had to come out of his fake death plot to honor Chris, and now the face of the industry will be changed now that everyone "knows" it is fake. Had anyone heard something along these lines? I'm kind of curious about it. |
Wrestling has been exposed as being fake countless times, to the point where most fans watch it more for the over the top theatrics and insane plotlines. Recently I went to a friend's house to watch Wrestlemania, and even though we all knew it was fake and staged you can still yell all you want for your favorite character.
So yeah, the only people still holding onto the idea that wrestling is real are very fringe crazy die-hards. All Vince coming out early does is force them to rewrite some plot points. _________________
