|
|
say i downloaded, uhh, a torrent. and say it has a whole bunch of files in it which are meant to be, like, burned onto a DVD, inserted into a DVD player, and then played on a television.
what do i do!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
PS: I have DVDs. _________________

this is one of the more eternally obtuse things in (get ready for it) "modern computing."
remember the days when windows couldn't master an audio CD made to work in any old stereo, and you had to track down ez cd creator or what have you?
yeah.
i don't know what to tell you, but if worse comes to worst, i have here a crack for super DVD creator 8.5. PM me.
(note: the program is clunky and terrible but works and if it's all you can pirate then it's all you can pirate) |

This reminds me how much I need to send my laptop in to get fixed. One of the mouse buttons randomly registers as a double-click, some of the keys don't register as often as they should, the monitor is developing a little discoloration spot in one place, and the DVD DL R/W is refusing to burn discs.
All covered under warranty, hooah. I might even end up with a newer, higher-contrast LCD. _________________

Get Nero and tell it to burn a Video DVD. Then you just drag and drop your bunch of files on there.
Nero can be tracked down via Isohunt with minimal effort.
Edit: oh burn it at like 4X speed, not the maximum.
Redit: oh man Macs. I don't know what the fuck. |

This thread was above the "I feel like a girl" one and I misread them as the composite title "How do I fuck like a girl?" _________________

| If it's an image file (.img), use Disk Utility in Mac OS X's Utilities folder. If they're VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders, just drag them to the disc and hit burn. |

| iDVD. Or just do the usual burn folder thing, but have the VIDEO_TS shit right in there and make sure you're burning in ISO mode. |

You should be able to put them all in the VIDEO_TS file and burn that to DVD and everything should be groovy.
Just don't buy that useless burn or disco software crap. Mac has DVD burning built in nicely those fuckers want to charge you for shit your mac already does.

oh. mac. right.
er, yeah, this would apply to windows too - if they're already mastered as VIDEO_TS and what have you, drag and drop should work fine. otherwise you will, as i said earlier, need some arbitrary DVD mastering program and yeah who knows what's what on macs. |
