Whoa, so do I. Thankfully it's mostly calmed down these days and doesn't prevent me from driving--it just manifests in some harmless finger/neck twitching tics. The worst (slash most awesome) part was a squeaking noise that really annoyed my classmates in fifth grade, and which to this day I haven't encountered anyone else who can reproduce. I got prescribed Risperdal after that, which sucked. (A little while ago, I looked Risperdal up on wikipedia, and damn the side effects are bizarre! It can cause both sexes to grow breasts, apparently, and also cause nausea at moments of extreme pleasure like orgasm. Thankfully neither of these happened to me.)
Re: earlier posts--Tourettes really calms down for some people during adolescence, while it doesn't for others. Also, a lot of people are able to execute precise physical tasks despite their Tourettes for the very reason that those tasks are so precise, since intense focus often subdues tics. Oliver Sacks has this famous piece about a surgeon with Tourettes whose tics go away during surgery because he's completely focused on the task. _________________

Err, not really. More "his Tourettes hinders him in goalkeeping less than in other, less hardcore activities." _________________
