Here in the lovely city of Birmingham, AL, we're experiencing a stage 3 drought, which means that if one uses up too much water, then the water company charges extra. The limit is something like 8,900 gallons per month or something. I forget the exact numbers.
Then again, yesterday I was caught in a massive deluge that manage to completely soak my pant legs into a soggy heap despite the fact that I was carrying a golf umbrella.
Either way, that rain only lasted about 20 minutes at best, so it wasn't nearly enough to relieve the drought. _________________ Taking a break. |
