Due to popular demand, numberic is relaunching!

numberic is a select button community service through which you can share and discover fantastic music and terrible noises (usually from Pezon). It's been out of commission for eight or so months now, but it's heading back out onto the pitch today for round two! If you were one of the 67 people on the list as of 11/7/05, which is the last backup I have, I'll be sending you an email asking if you'd like to participate again, but I figured the rest of the community might like to get in on this too.

The way it works is this: you send a message to numberic@cetteboite.com with a couple songs as attachments, and everybody on the list gets them delivered right to his inbox! It's recommended that you use Gmail, for the space and the threading, and it's further recommended that you use an alternate account, or Gmail label/filters magic, to keep your main one free of clutter.

Back when we started this up the first time, the community was a lot smaller, so I had some reservations putting this thread in GBF now - but the thought of an Axe-only music group frightened me horribly. So, some stipulations:
-If you're a lurker, you're not really welcome to this.
-I moderate all subscriptions to the list, and only list members can send mail to it. If I don't recognize your Gmail address and it doesn't look like an SB poster I know of, it won't get approved. Send me a PM in a few days if you haven't been accepted.
-If you bring petty Axe bullshit to the list, you're out in a jiffy.
-Please try to have filenames and ID3/metadata info in some semblance of useful organization.
-Don't spread the list. It's not for anybody else but us and it just wastes my time denying people who aren't part of the community.
-Send any and every type of music with no reservations!

It will probably take a few days to get the list repopulated and the kinks worked out, but it's great fun for all involved when it gets rolling!

Oh holy shit. I just noticed that I WAS signed up but under a different old throwaway gmail account that I had like... completely forgotten about.

As a result, I have almost the entire archive of numberic emails. Anyone have any special requests for re-runs? What will help is if you can give me either:
a) The name of the song (so I can search) or
b) The name of the person as it would appear in gmail who sent it... so I can search.

Also. I finally figured out how to make a decent mojito. Yes!

Cryo, I could send some of them I guess but it would be totally random as I can't tell what any but a couple of the titles are because my computer can't display japanese characters.

edit-Just sent the only two tracks I have that have english titles. Ooh-wee. I'm listening to them now and I'm kind of digging them. Guess they won't get deleted any time soon.
