speaking of the homework thing, i've heard of groups on the internets, where people are set punishment lines to (hand) write, that they have to scan/photograph and email for marking. i believe there is also a program made for lines typing that doesn't allow copy and pasting, and records how long it took, how many mistakes were made, and any times when the person took a break from typing.
i could also post rules i got from somewhere (lost in the mists of time) for a strict detention, that sounds like a most fearsome punishment.

edit: my wife reads some livejournals from dudes in the leather community in nyc. every so often someone gets into the whole "vanilla" thing, which is hilariously condescending because it begets this whole back and forth that reads a bit like a bunch of christians witnessing for jesus but instead they're witnessing for a kind of weird gay olympics. i think the weird gay olympics is a great thing in that people have found something that works to express who they really are in the company of people they trust enough to share a gamut of extreme and deeply intimate emotional experiences. as such a bit of enthusiasm above and beyond the call of duty is expected.

(surely a games board can appreciate a sliver of that.)
