|
|
Hey, so, the most recent pair of shoes I recieved were a pair of Sandlot PF Flyers that ended up being too small. That makes the last pair of shoes that I own that actually fit (some etnies that I now think are just plain ugly, regardless of their wearability) at about 2 years old.
Basically, i'm looking for something comfortable and stylish that I could occasionally run or play light sports in without them falling apart. Any ideas? |

I still love my merrell chameleon for all around sport and running. Work for at all kinds of velocities. They are durable and have good stability and grip.
For leisure, some vasque mocassins and marithé+francois girbaud's tifosi. |

I want more obnoxiously colored shoes.
I have neon green ones right now. I posted a picture earlier in a different thread in the axe here it is again:
They are actually a few months old, got them while Stotel was in the country haha he tried to talk me out of them and I was like HECK NO.
I saw some purple and yellow shoes I really want at Underground Station. |

Puma's classics line of reissued athletic shoes of yesteryear may be what you're looking for. Most of the shoes are old soccer/track shoes, but they look nice and clean. I have had nothing but great experience with Puma Romas.

| I wear skateboarding shoes because they're extremely comfortable. I think they're DCs or DGs or something like that. They're big and all-black. |

Yeah Puma make some awesome vintage styles. I've got these:
Smash '78. They take a beating with grace. |

I did wear red/white ones for some days some months ago and they were awesome - therefore thinking of buying these soon ... _________________

I'd also suggest Pumas classic line, except I have fallen away from sneakers to top-siders. _________________ “We completely understand the public’s concern about futuristic robots feeding on the human population, but that is not our mission,” - Harry Schoell, Cyclone Power Technologies Inc, in response to erroneous reports about a robot under development. |

I've been rocking the Chucks for a decade now. Ought to find something else now that they've gotten pricier. _________________

| When did Chucks get pricier?! Ive been rocking them for many a year now, but I havent bought a new pair in a long time, either. I think what I love about Chucks is that they are so damn comfy right away, they dont need to be broken in to feel good. But when they are broken in, they feel like a second skin! Plus, its easy to order them online, since most stores dont carry 13.5 size shoes. |

I actually had a bitch of a time trying to find some size 13 Chucks here a couple years ago. Most stores only stocked them in girl's sizes for some bizarre reason.
The one pair I eventually tracked down were roughed-up optical white oxfords which looked about three miles long. |

I've been pretty faithful because I found a good source for size 13 Chucks. Weird.
The Nike buy-out seems to have upped their price ten bucks in some places. Not cool. _________________

I am going to be getting a pair of Tretorns soon.
Made with recycled sails. If I were more ballsy I would rock some:
