people who like vertigo (and anyone) should see the movie suzhou river directed by lou ye. its a really great movie and is an amazing remake/tribute/extended reference to vertigo. i haven't seen either in awhile so i don't have much to say about it, but to me watching suzhou river made me realize what a great movie vertigo was... which makes suzhou river an excellent one too.
