I believe the first order of business is to locate all our missing members and regroup!

Then the second order of business would be to pool our wiimotes together to form IC/SB TORONTO: WIIMOTE MAYHEM!

SO WHEN SHOULD WE DO THIS PEOPLE

Tuesdays aren't good for me. The 28th is my birthday (which by the way you guys are welcome to come to). Apart from that, I'm mostly free.

You guys?

Wait, what now? o_O

Okay, lemme rephrase.

The 28th is my birthday and I've got a dinner/party thing planned, which by the way you guys are welcome to attend if you so wish. But I was trying to ask if anybody had any ideas for dates outside of that range.

Unless if you guys seriously want to combine "SB: TORONTO: DECEMBER 2006" with "SB: ED'S BIRTHDAY DINNER/PARTY" into one event. o_O

I'm sorry aerisdead but I've never had a PS2 fixed in Toronto at all

I live in constant fear of my PS2's laser wearing out on me, which is why I run most of my games including the ones I bought off the hard drive to avoid using the laser.

It can't hurt to ask at Pacific Mall though!

but happy birthday and that's a kickass cake that's now had the honour of being pasted everywhere on the internet too!

skonrad are you really not coming back to us :(

so what's the plan now, really? let's get something concrete down already.

oh and i just finished playing ryu ga gotoku 2 / yakuza 2 and it was awesome

If you need somebody generous enough to lend you a PS2 for a period up to 30 days, I know of two people that can do that for you if you're desperate, and their initials are FS and BB. ;)

Mr. FS saved my ass back in first year when I forgot to bring my calculator to my physics midterm, and lent me the exact same calculator I was used to using for my exam!

of course the catch is that you gotta give him the money for the item and he'll give it back to you when you give it back *cough*

okay sue me i am / was poor and broke :(

OKAY MY PLANS FOR NEXT WEEK ARE STARTING TO TAKE SHAPE

The date is December 28th, 2006!

I'll probably be working until 6pm, so keeping a bit of time to set up in mind I'm thinking to have people show up at... 7:30 to 8-ish?

You all know where I live! But in case you've all forgotten it is at:

210 Victoria Street, at the northwest corner of Victoria and Shuter!
220 is the hotel, but my apartment shares the same main entrance! You enter the hotel on the left and the apartments on the right. So, on the right it is.

Apartment 618!

If you get lost you can call me at 416-880-8889!

Does anybody mind having to chip in a bit for booze? The drinks should be a lot more interesting that way!

oh yeah, and post a reply if you're showing up so I can figure out how much food and booze to prepare

Ed I won't be able to make this one, but we'll see about something early in the new year, hopefully. My plans for next week are still kind of... Up in the air.

GOOD NEWS THOUGH

Gamerama fixed my PS2 by today! I was able to trade games to pay off the cost of the repair ($70) too! I haven't really tried it out very hard (slightly scared) but It at least boots games now. Might consider finding out how annoying/expensive it is to fit a hard drive so I don't have to wear this lazer out too...

Aww, that's too bad. Good news about the PS2 thing though! Double bonus if the games you traded in were all shitty review copies you didn't want to play anyway!!

Ed, I'll be there. Is it BYOB then? I have no problems bringing my own hooch.

Aerisdead, un-up-air your plans@ :-(

Yeah, what I'm figuring right now is that if everybody brings something different (which probably means something other than beer would be better, but it's up to you in the end!) we can have a variety of different drinks around for quite the interesting night! I'm also budgeting a fair bit of my own money for this, so, yeah. PREPARE TO BE DRUNK.

Also can you bring your wiimote/nunchuck combo?

Oh. That's too bad. It's okay though, don't worry about it.

Though, uh, any chance I can borrow your wiimote for the evening anyway? x_x
